How do I feel about how it is going?

I am making a sculpture and I want to add some kind of animation or a GIF. The sculpture is made from clay to make a human form and connect it with a jelly fish (the jelly fish is made from acetate, glue gun and manipulate the surface). The animation / GIF would be on a screen / laptop and then the sculpture would sit in front – the GIF or animation acting as a ‘sea’ backdrop. The idea behind this work is about a ‘mass-produced’ human (the outside is similar, but on the inside we are all different, unique). It makes me think a lot about what life is, what other peoples lives are like.

I am feeling, at the moment, my progress is controlled, and I am happy with this. The things that are going well are lots of different sculptural experiments, which I am excited by, as I really like to try new materials and processes – I am determined to make my sculpture detailed, how far can I refine this detail, how aeathetically interesting can I make it.

I am not so happy with my Workflow at the moment because I haven’t been engaging with adding to it every day, and I find writing challenging – I haven’t been engaging with reflective writing everyday, and this I need to work on and develop.
